 A Very Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #118926, all original and complete. Made in 1856 with a 4 inch barrel on it. The revolver has fine metal, markings and edges. It has a clear barrel address & cylinder scene. The barrel and cylinder retain some of their original blue with the balance fading into an untouched natural plum brown patina. The frame, loading lever, hammer all retain lots of original case color on them. All screws are fine on it. The original grips on the pocket revolver are excellent to mint throughout with all of their original varnish on them. This Colt has a fine action and bore in it.
The original case is fine and untouched throughout with a fine & original burgundy lining inside it. All of the partitions & lining original to the box. The outside of the box is also fine and touched throughout with a fine grain and original vanish on it. The case includes an eagle and stars pocket flask, a brass & iron pocket mold, a cap tin, a key and a few original lead balls in the corner compartment. The box closes tightly with no warping.
This Is A Wonderful Untouched Example Of A Very Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver In Its original Case With Accessories. It would Be A Fine addition To Any Collection!
