A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel

An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial # 118,926, all matching numbers.  Made in 1856, all original & complete. The revolver has very nice metal, markings, and edges. The cylinder scene is clear throughout. The barrel, & cylinder have hints of blue throughout them which has turned to an untouched plum brown patina on them. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all still show darkening case colors. All screws are nice. The backstrap & trigger guard are nice retain all of their original factory silver on them. The original grips are excellent plus and retain their original factory varnish on them. The pistol has a very good bore and action. This Is A Very Nice Example Of An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel Made In 1856. This Early Colt Pocket Revolver Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Collection!
