Description: An Early Civil War U.S. Military Issued Starr Double Action Model 1858 Army Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #14,143 with all matching numbers throughout. All original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal and markings throughout with crisp edges. It is fully U.S. Sub Inspected. All of the metal on the pistol has a mix of some original factory blue throughout mixing with a plum brown patina. All screws are excellent. The grips on the revolver are fine throughout with crisp edges and a nice color to them. There is a clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on both sides of the grip & it is also U.S. Sub Inspected.
