An Early & Desirable Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver With A 6 1/2 Inch Barrel In Fine Plus Untouched Condition. Serial # 11,488 with all matching numbers. Made in 1862, all original and complete. The revolver has fine plus metal, markings, and edges. The barrel & cylinder both retain most of their original factory blue which is fading into a natural patina in small areas. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain nearly all of their original factory case colors. All screws are excellent with original color. The backstrap & trigger guard are fine throughout and retain about half of their original silver on them. The original grips are fine plus throughout with a fine grain and color to them. The revolver has a fine action and bore. This Is A Very Fine Example Of An Early & Desirable Civil War Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver With A 6 1/2 Inch Barrel And Fine Original Blue And Case Colors Throughout It!
