An Early & Scarce "L. HOLLIS & SONS" Made & Marked Civil War Colt Model 1862 Engraved Percussion Pocket Navy Revolver With a 5 1/2" Barrel In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #11,137, All matching numbers, all original and complete. The pistol has fine metal and markings throughout with fine engraving on all parts including the cylinder. It also has fine edges, and a 5 inch barrel on it. All of the metal on the revolver has nice original blue throughout it with small areas fading to a plum patina. The frame & lever show some original case colors. All screws are nice. The engraved brass backstrap & trigger guard throughout. The original factory grips are fine throughout with a nice grain and color to them. It has a very good action and bore. This Is A Fine Looking Example Of A Scarce "L.
