British Gas Seal Revolver by H.J. Holland (AH5571)

Description:

British Gas Seal Revolver by H.J. Holland. Very interesting gun with a gas seal system. Very similar guns are shown in the book The Handgun by Geoffrey Boothroyd on pages 121-124. There were several makers and several patents that began in 1852 and this gun by H.J. Holland is obviously influenced by these guns. This gun has a 6 ½” barrel and 13 ½” overall length in .44 caliber. Nice sharp gun with nice markings. Frame has sharp scroll engraving. Grips are finely checkered. Action works perfectly. Very fine unusual system!
