Guns International #: 100436639
Seller's Inventory #: 80
S/N 7621, these Navy type pistols were manufactured between 1859 and 1868. This is the second of 5 types made with total production aroud 78,000. This one has a 6 1/2" octogon barrel. All barrel markings are sharp and clear, as are the panel scenes around the cylinder. The lockup works fine and is tight. There are areas of light pitting, but very slight. There is still some blue around the takedown wedge. The grips still retain most of the original finish. Overall a very nice grey gun. Included in the period case is a powder flask and a Manhatten marked bullet mold.
