Guns International #: 101419210
Seller's Inventory #: AH5579
Confederate Leech & Rigdon Revolver South Carolina marked. Made in 1863-1864. Scarce gun with only around 1500 made. Manufactured in Greensboro, GA. Light pitting throughout the metal. Grips are very good, which generally indicates poor storage. Bottom of grips are marked “S.C.” (South Carolina). Barrel marking is partially obstructed with pitting but is legible overall. Action works fine and locks up tight. This gun was sold by Jackson Arms of Dallas, TX in 1965. It was sold with another Leech & Rigdon, serial number 1151. These presumably came from one family and were owned by one soldier as serial number 1151 was also South Carolina marked. Very scarce Confederate made gun that has South Carolina state markings!
