English Transitional Percussion Six-Shot Revolver with Case and Accessories. This is an excellent revolver. Approximately .36 caliber. There is no makers name. It has Birmingham proofs. The cylinder has 100% beautiful vibrant case colors and the barrel about 98%. Barrel is 7" length and 11 ½" total overall length. The frame has approximately 98% blue and is engraved with scrolls as are the grip straps, trigger guard and butt cap. There is an old small repair at the top of the grip strap and a small dent where the bottom of the back strap meets the edge of the butt cap. Grips are finely checkered and are perfect. The action operates perfectly. The oak case is excellent and contains a ramrod, bullet mold, Kynoch cap can, English Bac shape flask and case key. Note: there is an interesting paper note dated 1957 that states: I hereby certify that the improved antique revolver sold by me was in fact my property and have received the sum of 10 (pounds) for the above. R.P. Ruwell? Note goes with the cased set
