Pair of Officer .50 caliber pistols (AH3450)

Description:

Pair of Officer .50 caliber pistols. Very fine pair of Officer pistols by F. Jung, in Suhl. (Worked 1830-1850). Percussion pistols with German silver mounts, all engraved. Note: Trigger guard bow has a family crest that incorporates an anchor and spears or lances. (Possibly a Naval Officer). Stocks are checkered and carved and are studded with silver tacks. Barrel length is 8"" and are .50 caliber. Overall length is 13 1/2"". Locks are engraved and cocks are in the form of a sea serpent. Overall condition is very good plus. Beautiful and impressive pair of pistols.
