Description: A rare pair of W.J. & R.H. Scott (Albany, NY) perc. Pistols with saw handles. These early American pistols are 40 cal., 10 1/4” octagon bbl., brown case harden with a German solver finish & American walnut stocks. The smooth bore pistols have a German silver bead front sight & are marked W.J.& R.H. Scott/Albany at the breech & have scroll engraving. The saw handle walnut stocks have pewter forend caps & German silver furniture with 909 & 910 inventory tags are fitted to the pommels. These guns are in very good condition with minor age imperfections. Mechanically in very good condition.
