Description: On consignment we have a Remington New Model Navy percussion revolver in .36 Caliber. This gun has a period (or shortly thereafter) aftermarket nickel refinish. The grips appear to be the original walnut grips, although no cartouche is visible. The barrel address is a scarcely legible mid-range 2-line address “Patented Sept 14, 1858 - E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, NY, USA” with early style dovetailed front sight. Barrel is standard 7-3/8". Gun is mechanically sound with a very good bore for the vintage.
