Guns International #: 100422006
This is a very large very unusual percussion pistol in very good condition. It is very heavy and approximately 19.5 inches long with a 12" barrel and estimated .69 caliber. It has matching numbers on hammer, sideplate and barrel. It is dated 1835 on barrel and the bore is very good and has rifling. The pistol functions very well but I would not recommend shooting without first being looked at by a gunsmith. Behind the hammer is a grip for your two fingers. The stock has a great patina nad appears to have two circular repairs. It has a metal tamping rod that is also numbered and is in good condition. This could have been converted from flintlock and could have been converted or cut down from musket at factory. Please let me know if you have any questions.
