Description:
"Serial number 5107. Made in 1861. 44 caliber with an 8" barrel. This barrel is marked with pin point size pitting and it appears it was refinished long ago. The barrel has more of a grayish blue patina at this point. All number match including the serial number. The action works well. The grips are very good. This gun is cut for stock and has the four screw frame. The action is crisp and indexes properly. Some of these guns have very interesting shipping addressed including Southern purchases. All in all a respectable early Colt Fluted army!
