Guns International #: 101786198
Seller's Inventory #: AC405
Manufactured in 1863, this Colt has a 7.5"" octagonal barrel. All the serials are matching. The serials on the cylinder are no longer legible, but our belief is that it is original, as it has the same wear and patina as the rest of the revolver. The barrel wedge is an old replacement. The grip straps have all of their patina and have not been burnished. The grips show wear on the left side and very light wear on the right side. The action works perfectly. the bore is good with good rifling with some pitting. Overall a good example of a civil war period 1851 that almost certainly saw action in the field!
