A Very Early & Rare Percussion Colt Model 1855 1A Root Revolver In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #349, made in 1855. All matching numbers. There were only 209 made of this model. It in .28 caliber. The revolver has very fine metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and very clear cylinder scene and barrel address. All of the fine metal on the revolver is in the white and does not appear to have been cleaned as all edges are sharp and crisp. It has fine screws. The original grips are very fine throughout and retain most of their original factory varnish. The revolver has a very good action and bore. This Is A Very Early, Scarce, & Desirable Example Of A Fine Looking Percussion Colt Model 1855 1A Root Revolver. This Fine Colt Root Revolver Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Colt Or Civil War Collection!
