BACON Mfg. Co. Navy Model Revolver, w/ Swing out Cylinder
Description: Bacons "Navy Model" made in the 1860"s is a LARGE frame .38 rimfire, six shot, with a 7-1/2" octagonal barrel.
This is the (second type) with the "swing out cylinder". Three hundred twenty five were made, and made by C.W. Hopkins in
1862. They are often sought after as a secondary martial revolver. Made in Norwich, Conn. This revolver has a mottled gray patina and light pitting throughout, engraved frame, Walnut grips, and is mechanically excellent.
