Very nice Civil War era Cased Factory engraved Manhattan with Sheffield Bowie all adorned with ivory handles. Appears to have seen some action for sure.
this is a early Bacon Model. Rare with the star * insignia. And B stamp. Apparently only a few of these were produced. Anyway all that and $5.00 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
Action is strong and it all locks up good. I wouldn't be afraid to fire it. But I would advise you have it checked out by a gunsmith before firing.
