REMINGTON MODEL 1858 NEW MODEL ARMY REVOLVER

Description:
.44 caliber, 8" octagon barrel with loading rod located underneath. Six shot cylinder. Two piece wooden grips with the left bearing the U.S. inspector's cartouche. A crisp example with the metal parts showing blue mixing with plum, very smooth surfaces and sharp edges. The correct single letter inspection initials can be found on the appropriate parts and all of the stampings are sharp and clear. Mechanically excellent. Excellent bright bore and perfect rifling.
