Description:

Colt 1851 Navy 3rd Model .36 caliber revolver. Serial numbers match, except the cylinder. Action works perfectly. Bore has very good rifling and light to medium scattered pits. Grips are very good and appear to be old but are a bit thick at the butt. We think they are later replacements. They do fit very well. This revolver has been reblued in the past. But is not factory work. There is no cylinder scene as that was removed when it was rebluded more than likely. This is a reasonably priced 1851 Navy that has a nice appearance.
