Presented in its original fitted walnut and velvet case, this stunning commemorative revolver celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the California Gold Rush. The barrel is inscribed in gold with "150th Anniversary Gold Rush", and the piece features a beautifully contrasting combination of blued steel, vibrant case-hardened frame, and richly polished gold-finished cylinder and trigger guard.
The one-piece walnut grip is fitted with a gold commemorative medallion, and the overall condition is exceptional — showing little to no handling wear consistent with an unfired or rarely handled example.
The case is complete with all original period-correct accessories:

• Engraved powder flask — featuring an American eagle motif in polished brass
• Blue bullet mold
• Blue nipple wrench and mainspring vise tool
• Eley Bros. percussion cap tin — 250-count, marked for Colt Belt and Pocket Pistols
• Brass case key

With an estimated production of only ~673 units, this Gold Rush commemorative is significantly rarer than the standard 3rd Generation 1849 Pocket, making it a highly sought-after piece for serious Colt collectors. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete, cased example in outstanding condition.
