Appears to be all numbers matching, manufacture date is 1863, This gun is not usable in its current condition, would be a good candidate for a restoration though, with hammer cocked the cylinder will sometimes lock in place as it should, other times it moves freely, I think this might just be due to how dirty it is but I don‚t have the confidence to take apart a 162 year old gun, trigger works as intended, rod moves and works as intended as well, missing a screw on the left side of the trigger guard and there is a noticeable gap between the upper and lower part of the gun, but I assume tightening the screw would solve this. This item is sold as is with no guarantees, I‚d say if you‚re not a collector or gunsmith you should probably skip this one, but it is certainly a unique piece of history.
