Grips are excellent. All numbers match. Action works perfect and locks up tight. Gun looks fantastic. Comes with original black leather holster. This gun was issued to Elisha Whitford of the 1st Rhode Island Cavalry. He mustered in December of 1861 and mustered out in November of 1864. The 1st Rhode Island Cavalry fought in the 2nd Battle of Bull Run, and the Chancellorsville Campaign. Gun is very well documented. It has where the gun was issued to the soldier by serial number, the soldier’s muster rolls and the unit history. Very historic gun in excellent condition!
