Colt 3rd Model Dragoon 8 Barrel (C15818)

Description:

Colt 3rd Model Dragoon 8” Barrel. Made in 1860. .44 Caliber with a rare 8” barrel. All markings are sharp. Metal has been cleaned. The cylinder does not have much cylinder scene to speak of, but has a clear serial number. All serial numbers on this gun match. Grips show wear, but are good overall. The muzzle of this gun match shows some rouding at the barrel indicating a lot of carry wear. This is a very rare gun with a 8” barrel and this is a pretty good example since these guns were used so hard.
