VERY INTERESTING PAIR OF 1862 COLT PERCUSSION INSCRIBED REVOLVERS
Description: One gun was made in about 1861 and the other in 1865. The engraving is nearly identical on both with very slight differences. Both have nice looking and fitting Ivory grips. Inscribed on the backstrap is "Col. H F Liebenau". Both are silver finished. Sharp engraving. Mechanics are excellent. They have some scattered light minor pits but guns look good and honest untouched. All matching numbers. Apparently inscribed Colt presentation revolvers are very unusual These guns are no exception.
