"Extremely Rare Colt 1877 Rain Maker 32 Colt (59948)

Description:
"Serial number 75613. Made in 1890. 32 Colt caliber with a 5" barrel. This is an extremely rare “rainmaker" Colt model 1877 in 32 Colt. The model 1877s came in three calibers, 32 Colt, 38 Colt an 41 Colt. Benjamin Kittredge, who was a large distributor for Colt gave the nick names for the different calibers. The 32 Colt is by far the rarest of the three calibers. In our 50 years in business and several hundreds of thousands of guns sold, this is the third Colt rainmaker that we have had. Overall this gun is in good condition with 40% of the original nickel finish and the rest of the metal has a light gray patina. The grips are very good with light carry wear. This gun does not have a record according to the Colt Archives, however there are know Colt Rainmakers known rainmakers in this serial number range.
