Colt Model US Army 1892 Double Action Revolver. Very Rare Unaltered Example from 1st Contract

Description:
This is a scarce Unaltered Colt Model 1892. Of the original 8,000 ordered by the US Army, only about 300 escaped having the upgrade program to have the Model 1894 safety hammer block installed. Today, there are less than 20 known examples making this a very rare example. All original with matching numbers. Condition is NRA Antique Fine with 50% original blue. Good bore and mechanics.
