G stamped on front of trigger guard
C stamped in hammer notch
Slick trigger
Bore is good
Notched rear, blade front sights
2 piece walnut grips with no missing wood
These U.S. government models were reworked and refinished between 1896 and 1903
Not all matching serial numbers 1565 on frame, 114074 on trigger guard, 120399 on butt which puts year of manufacturing between 1874 to 1887
