Here we present an antique 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver that was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri in 1893, per the included factory letter. The Colt Single Action Army is a worldwide icon of the United States of America and the Western Frontier. Wielded by both the worst of men and the best, the famous Single Action Army is also well-known as the Peacemaker.

This six-shooter is chambered in .45 Colt and features a 4.75 inch barrel. The grips are hard rubber that feature the rampant colt and federal eagle. All the serial numbers match. The Colt factory letter states that this revolver was shipped in its current configuration to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri on August 22, 1893, along with 24 others. As St. Louis was the gateway to the West, one can only imagine the places this gun has seen.

This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
