Here's a Excellent Example of a Historical Colt 1860 Army ! Serial number 101347. This revolver has seen service in our Civil War and then Refurbished by the U.S. Government for our Indian Wars ! This is 100 percent original and correct U.S. Issue Colt 1860 Army ! After the Civil War weapons were needed for our Frontier Wars so these 1860 Army's where Refurbished by the U.S. Government and Issued to the U.S. Army mostly Cavalry Units . These units fought in the Indian Wars some of the most viscous Battles were at the Sioux Wars , Vavapai Wars , Texas Indian Wars and many other Conflicts! Gun has most all of it's refurbished military finish still remaining with handling marks and scars from use . Muck of the original case colors still remaining. Original grips were refurbished also but still have traces of the original Cartouches with wear and handling marks with very good wood to metal fit . Gun has all matching serial numbers. Most all the military inspector stamps still remaining. Bore and mechanics are in excellent condition. Gun is in excellent working condition!
