**SOLD** 1971 Manufactured Colt Cobra First Model chambered in .38 Special w/ 2" Barrel ** Matching Grips **

Description:
**SOLD** Here we have a nice Colt Cobra chambered in .38 special. Manufactured in 1971, this first model Cobra features a 2" blued barrel, black aluminum frame, six-shot cylinder, ramped front sight, and checkered walnut grips. The finish across the Cobra is in very good/great overall condition with the exception of some light high-edge wear, a handful of spots on the cylinder, and various scattered handling marks/scuffs on the aluminum frame. The checkered walnut grips are numbers matching to the frame and show no signs of cracks, chips, or repairs. The grips fit very well to the frame and just show the smallest amount of handling wear with most of it concentrated on the bottom. The bore of the 2" barrel is bright with sharp rifling but does show a handful of small spots of shallow pitting. The front of the cylinder and rear star are in great condition and show no signs of damage or excessive wear. All the factory markings on this Cobra are still perfectly visible, and all the controls function 100%. The action is crisp, with excellent timing, and locks up like a bank vault. This Colt Cobra would make a great shooter. Sorry, no box or paperwork.
