Beautiful Colt Detective Special with 2'' barrel and square butt, made in 1968.

Description:

Standard configuration Colt Detective Special 6-shot revolver, with 2” barrel having serrated ramp front sight and grooved rear sight. Left side of the barrel marked "DETECTIVE SPEC." over "38 SPECIAL CTG". Left sideplate with the Rampant Colt. Right side of the barrel having 2 line Colt address. Full serial number on frame and crane. Serrated trigger and hammer. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with the silver Colt medallions. No box or other accessories.

Condition:

99+% bright original factory blue including front and backstrap. Grips with blunted checkering, the left panel having a rub mark near the bottom as imaged. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful Colt Detective snub nose revolver in 38 Special from 1968!
