Colt Detective Special Revolver .38 Special

Description:
Colt Detective special Revolver .38 Special Caliber 2" Barrel Mfg. 1938 Includes Colt Factory Letter Condition: Very lightly used. Light wear to barrel, cylinder, and backstrap bluing. Several small areas of rust staining to blue, and a couple of minute pits to frame. Gun sports a bobbed and checkered hammer, correct for the period, in which Fitz-Gerald was producing his "Fitz Special", which ended in 1941. Also has a Fray-Mershon "Sure Grip", using the same principle as the more common "Tyler T-Grip". Overall, we are grading it at 90%. A fine example of a custom Colt from the Golden era, with Factory Letter.
