Gorgeous Colt Python Revolver, 6” Blue, made 1962, in two-piece faux wood box with "SHOOTING SUGGESTIONS" literature. Fixed serrated ramp front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Model and caliber marked on the left side of the barrel; Colt single line address on the right side. Rampant Colt on sideplate. Matching serial number on frame and crane. Checkered grips, each panel with gold Colt medallions. Complete with a factory shipping box and literature; the protective paper a later addition.

Condition:

The revolver is virtually new, retaining 99.99% bright original finish. Cylinder ring barely breaks through the blue; negligible cartridge head imprints on the recoil shield. Crisp original grips with crisp checkering, no mars on bottom. Mirror bright bore. Box with moderate corner / edge wear, the end label with ink staining, non-factory numbering on bottom. G-VG literature with folds / tears.
