BROWNING BROTHERS MARKED COLT 1878 DA REVOLVER IN CALIBER 45 COLT

Description:
Barrel has been shortened to 5-1/2 inches at some point and has "R.A.C" on the bottom indicating military use. Traces of nickel finish are mostly in protected areas. The balance is a silver/grey color. Hard rubber checkered grips in good condition with the Rampant Colt insignia on each side. Lanyard swivel at the butt. Action needs some work as the hammer does not stay cocked when pulled back. Double action works good. "BROWNING BROS, OGDEN, U.T." on the left bottom of the frame indicates it was sold by the famous Browning shop. Complete with a Colt Factory Letter .
