Navy Double Action .38c Revolver issued to United States Government General Storekeeper, Navy Yard, Brooklyn, NY October 15, 1902.
Marked on the grip butt USN / {anchor} / 38 DA / {proof mark} / No 13032 JAB / [serial number].Blue finish. Star with I in center on cylinder release and on left front of trigger guard. Patent date 1895.
Comes with Official Colt Archive Letter.
Condition;
90% bluing with a couple of faded areas on the sides of the barrel. No deep scratches or wear areas. Grips are great shape with slight smoothing and no chips or scratches. Bore is shiny with two smallish slightly dark spots. Show case hardening colors on trigger. Fully functional and mechanicals all perfect. Can be shot with appropriate ammuntion. Slight holster wear on left muzzel.
