Colt .38 Lightening

Description:
This Colt .38 Lightening Serial #84536 was purchased by my great grandfather in 1891the year it was made. He was a banker and kept it for personal protection. He never had to use it. Few Lightenings have a tracable history. The pistol is in absolutely mint condition and has spent its life in a safety deposit box. The pistol was made famous by Billy the Kid who killed eight men with one before dying in 1880. It is being sold because I have not children to pass it along to.
