Colt Model 1877 "Lightning" D.A. .38 Cal Revolver

Description:
Very nice Lightning with 4.5" bbl. and side rod ejector. All matching numbers and mechanically perfect. SN 162672, mfg. 1907, so FFL required. Barrel and cylinder retain 80-90% light blueing, ejector blue worn very thin on outer edge. Frame about 40% case remaining. All screws are perfect, with bright blue remaining on trigger guard/backstrap screws, but worn off on frame screws. Hard rubber grips show moderate wear, however the bottom of the left grip, from the screw to the bottom, has been broken and repaired (see photo). Flayderman 5B-183. $950
