"Serial number 674. Made in the late 1860s to early 1870s. 38 RF caliber with a 4.5" octagon barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 85%- 90% of the original finish. The grips are excellent with most of the original varnish. Thei is an excellent example. olt Conversions were a way to use up percussion parts for the cartridge period. The civil war was transitional period where the percussion period was expiring and the cartridge period was replacing it.
