Description:
"Serial number 2085. Made in Late 1860s to early 1870s. 38RF caliber with a 3.5" barrel. This gun is in very good condition with 60% -70% of the original nickel finish. The grips are excellent. This gun shows very little use and the finish loss is probably due to poor storage. The action works perfectly. Colt Conversions were a way to use up percussion parts for the cartridge period. The civil war was transitional period where the percussion period was expiring and the cartridge period was replacing it. This is a very good example!
