"Serial number 5516. Made in 1862. 36 caliber with a 7.5" barrel. This is an extraordinary example of a Martial Colt 1861 Navy.85% - 90% of the original blue remains on the barrel. The cylinder has a very sharp cylinder scene that is mostly a dark gray patina. The frame has 80% of the original case colors. The loading lever and hammer also have very good case colors. The grips are excellent with a very sharp cartouche on the left hand side. Small inspectors marks are on throughout the parts. This gun is all matching. Accompanying this gun is slim jim flap holster also in very good condition This gun came directly out of a family from Tennessee and is fresh to the market. Martial Colt 1861 Navies are very hard to find in good condition. This one is exceptional and would be hard to improve upon.
