Serial number 60069. Made in 1856. 38CF caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. Nice sharp gun with a mostly gray patina that has isolated spots of protected blue finish on the barrel. Some cylinder scene remains. This gun is correctly non matching as these guns were reassembled when the guns were converted to cartridge. This is a martially marked gun with a “U.S." on the frame. There is US Navy markings on the but and on the bottom of the barrel. Very scarce gun!
