Description: Guns Listing ID: 267018 Up for sale is a Colt New Service .45 Colt Flat-Top Target Model Revolver (The name flat top was given for the flat top of the pistol where the rear sights are fixed). This REvolver Has a 7 1/2\" barrel (with a faint COLT‚‚S PAT FIRE ARMS MFG. Co HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED AUGUST 5, 1884, JUNE 5, 1900, APRIL 9, 1901). Polished flat top target with front sight adjustable for elevation and rear sight adjustable for windage. Deluxe, fleur-de-lys checkered, varnished, figured walnut grips without Colt medallions. The Ejector rod head has three knurled collars with large hole in front collar. Hand-checkered hammer, trigger, old-style cylinder release, front and rear gripstraps. RAC on rear of cylinder. Mfd very late 1910. Excellent bore condition. SER-29614 (The first number represents the model’s frame type.
