Fantastic Colt New Service revolver with 6 inch barrel, caliber .38 Special, made 1932, with checkered walnut grips and case colored lanyard ring. A wonderful revolver that would be difficult to improve upon short of finding an example that was NIB.
Description:
Standard configuration Colt New Service revolver made 1932 with 6? barrel, cal. .38 Special, blade and groove sights, with two-line address and patent markings on top of the barrel, caliber markings on the left, “VP” and “4” on the trigger guard and the Rampant Colt on the sideplate. Fitted with checkered Colt medallion grips. A perfect companion to the iconic “Shooting Master” in the same caliber that was made during the same time frame.
Condition:
Nearly new with just trace muzzle wear and a small scratch at the base of the backstrap. Lanyard ring with vivid case colors. Slightly darkened grips with sharp checkering. Mirror bore. Manual mechanics not checked as cylinder ring does not even break the blue, no cartridge imprints on recoil shield. A wonderful example of this classic New Service revolver, virtually impossible to improve upon short of finding an example NIB.
