Very Early Production, San Francisco Shipped, Three-Digit Serial Number "831" Colt Police Positive Target Double Action Revolver in Scarce .22 W.R.F. with Factory Letter. Manufactured in 1910, the first year of production. The included factory letter lists the revolver in .22 W.R.F. caliber with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish, and grips not listed when shipped to Dunham, Carrigan & Hayden Co. in San Francisco, California, on 3 June 1910, as one of ten guns of this type in the shipment. Very fine overall condition with most of the bright, original, high polish finish, some mild handling/holster wear, a patch of minor flaking on the left of the frame, and grips with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering.
