Colt Police Positive Target Revolver (Model C)
Description:
Serial #43075, .22 LR, 6 inch barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver was made in 1938 and retains about 90-95% of the original blue finish, that has silvered at the muzzle, along the high ad exposed edges, and also exhibits some mild freckling on the rear of the frame towards the grip juncture. Additionally, the cylinder has some tiny peen marks along one of the flute edges, and has a moderate turn-ring at the rear. The hammer and trigger have a mixture of original blue and dark surface freckling, especially on the sides of the hammer spur. The checkered walnut, Colt medallion grips are in very good condition with handling marks and flattening of the points on both sides. The lock-up and timing of the action are excellent, and the revolver rates very good-near fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
