Description: Holiday Special Scarce Colt Police Positive Target .22 Revolver C. 1932 Offered here as a holiday special is this previously owned classic Colt Police Positive Target .22 Revolver. Serial number 39478 this specimen was made circa 1932. It has a desirable 6” barrel and the revolver overall retains ALL of its original blued finish. When acquired however the former owner had replaced the original grips with highly unattractive plastic after market target grips. We had a pair of used but proper factory Colt rampant Colt medallion wooden grips and we have installed them. An obvious contrast as compared to the fine condition of the rest of the revolver but they are proper. Other than that the hammer only has some lack of its original plating. Still this is a very collectible and scarce variation Model “C” .22 target Colt revolver and for the Colt collector who has access to grips a very viable candidate for upgrade.
