Up for sale is an exceptional 1957 Colt Python chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6-inch barrel, finished in classic Colt Royal Blue. This is an early production Python, manufactured during the first years of Python production, and represents the craftsmanship that made the model legendary.
The condition is best described as immaculate. The revolver retains a deep, high-polish blue finish with outstanding clarity and sharp edges. It does not appear to have been fired outside of the factory, showing virtually no signs of use. The bore is bright, the action is smooth, and the lockup is tight—exactly what collectors hope to find in an early example.
