Description:
2.5" Colt Python with factory box & papers. The box end label is "suspect" and may be an "aged" reproduction. I'll let you decide, but the box is a 100% factory original in good condition with some tape repairs. Original paperwork include the correctly date coded Python Manual, "The Colt Companion booklet", Colt Industries "Congratulations" letter, and "Colt Authorized Repair Service Stations" brochure. The gun itself is in excellent condition with a slight turn line on the cylinder. The royal blue finish shows virtually no wear and the grips are like new with sharp checkering and consistent color. The original sights have been replaced with a set of "Red Ramp & White Outline" units. The work appears as though it may have been preformed by the Colt Custom Shop and the original parts are included. The pictures speak for themselves. If you're in the market for a really nice snubby Python that you can still actually shoot and enjoy, this may be the one. It might satisfy both the "Collector" and "Shooter" all in one complete package...
