1982 Vintage Stainless Steel Colt Python w/ 6" Inch Barrel
** Beautiful Condition **
Description: This is a beautiful all-original stainless steel Colt Python with a 6" inch barrel and factory black rubber grips manufactured in 1982. It is in excellent condition inside and out and has obviously lived a very easy life. The stainless steel is clean and bright, showing only a few tiny handling marks. All of the factory stampings are crisp and clear, and all of the screw heads appear un-turned with no marring. The bore in the 6" inch barrel is mirror-bright and in perfect condition, free from any pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves throughout the barrel. The six chambers in the cylinder are just as clean and bright as the bore, free from any damage or imperfections. The factory blued front sight blade is in excellent condition, as-is the blued adjustable rear target-style sight. The factory checkered black rubber grips are like-new, free from any damage or wear. Both sides have perfect silver Rampant Colt medallions, and the rubber is still soft and flexible. The action on this Python is superb, perfectly "in time" and butter-smooth. At full-lock there is ZERO felt wiggle or play in the cylinder. The trigger breaks like a glass rod with a light pull in single-action operation, and is smooth and consistent in double-action operation. All of the controls on this Colt Python are in perfect working order. This gun comes with a later-production factory box and owner's manual. If you have been looking for a 6" inch stainless steel Colt Python for your collection this 1982-production gun would be an excellent choice. There simply is no comparison between these vintage Pythons and the new-production guns, the older guns are better in every way.
